ActionPlan is AtomicSam's delivery planning surface — a lightweight but structured way to break jobs into discrete actions, assign them, schedule them and track them through to completion. It sits on top of your jobs so every action is anchored to real commercial context: a job, a cost area, a client and a budget.

    Who this is for

Project managers, delivery leads and anyone accountable for moving work forward across multiple jobs at once.

    What ActionPlan gives you

    • Actions — a title, description, assignee, due date, status, priority and estimated effort.
    • Statuses — a configurable workflow (Not started → In progress → Blocked → Done).
    • Templates — repeatable ActionPlan shapes applied to any job.
    • Dashboards — cross-job visibility on what's due, blocked, overloaded and at risk.
    • Automation rules — auto-assign, auto-schedule or notify on triggers.
    • Notifications — per-user preferences (in-app, email, digest).

How it fits with the rest of AtomicSam

Jobs are your commercial container (quote, budget, invoice). ActionPlan is the operational layer inside — the "how do we actually get this done" view. Time entries and costs still land on the job.

    Where to find it

    • Planning → ActionPlan — hub with personal and team action list.
    • Planning → ActionPlan → Templates — reusable plans.
    • Planning → ActionPlan → Dashboards — cross-job risk and capacity.
    • Settings → ActionPlan — statuses, automation, notifications.

    Plan availability

ActionPlan is available on Pro and Ultra. Dashboards and automation require Ultra.
