Zapier Integration Guide

Overview

Connect AtomicSam to thousands of other apps using Zapier webhooks. Trigger automated workflows when events happen in AtomicSam — like notifying Slack when an invoice is paid or creating a Trello card when a new job starts.

Setting Up a Webhook

1. Go to Settings → Integrations → Zapier.
2. Click Add Webhook.
3. Enter a name for the webhook (e.g., "Slack Notifications").
4. Paste the webhook URL from your Zapier zap.
5. Set the direction: Outbound (AtomicSam → Zapier) or Both.
6. Subscribe to the events you want to trigger on (e.g., invoice_created, job_completed).

Available Events

• Job events — created, status changed, completed
• Invoice events — created, sent, paid, voided
• Quote events — created, sent, accepted, declined
• Timesheet events — submitted, approved
• Cost events — created, updated

Entity-Level Webhooks

In addition to global event subscriptions, you can attach webhooks to specific entities (e.g., a particular job) for targeted notifications.

💡 Tip: Test your webhook with a sample payload before going live. The webhook config page shows delivery status and any errors.
