You can find the AI rewrite tool on text fields for quotes, jobs, and client messages. It helps you refine your wording, adjust your tone, and fix grammar without leaving the page. This is useful when you need to sound more professional or just want a second opinion on your writing.
Before you start
- The AI rewrite tool is available on the Pro and Ultra plans.
- You must have an active internet connection to use this feature.
- You need permissions to create or edit the item you want to work on, like a quote or a job.
Rewrite text using AI
You can use the AI tool on any multi-line text field, such as the description on a job or a quote. The process is the same wherever you see the AI icon.
- Navigate to an item where you want to edit text, like a quote or client message.
- Type or paste your initial text into a description or message field.
- Select the text you want to change. If you select nothing, the tool will use all the text in the field.
- Click the Rewrite with AI ✨ icon that appears in the toolbar or next to the text field.
- A menu appears with options. Select a tone and length, then click Generate.
- The AI generates a new version of the text.
- To use the new text, click Accept. To discard it, click Cancel.
💡 Tip: You can always edit the AI-generated text after you accept it. Think of it as a helpful first draft, not a final version.
Choose the right tone
Changing the tone helps your message match the situation and your client relationship. You can choose from several options to get the right feel for your writing.

⚠️ Heads up! AI tools can sometimes make mistakes or invent information. Always review generated text for accuracy, especially for prices, dates, or technical details.
Good to know
- The AI rewrite tool currently only supports English.
- The tool works best on text between 25 and 500 words. Very short or very long passages may produce lower-quality results.
- The AI does not have access to your other client or job data. It only knows what you provide in the selected text.
- Each time you click Generate, your previous suggestion is replaced. You cannot go back to an earlier AI suggestion.
